Best Weight-Loss Strategy: Slow Your Aging

California (AANN) — The beach season is almost here.  And you are desperately looking for a quick weight-loss diet so you won’t be humiliated.  But you’ve tried everything, and they don’t work.  Elixxir, “the only anti-aging guru who has actually stayed young” (Investor’s Business Daily), has a new strategy for you.  He says “the best way to lose weight scientifically is to retard your biological aging process.”

And as Elixxir can still easily fit into the ultra-slim jeans of teenagers in his fifties, when Elixxir talks, you want to listen up.

To their dismay, Elixxir has issued a challenge to any of the other nationally-prominent weight loss or antiaging gurus to prove they can do the same feat: get into ultra-slim jeans.  ”Why follow weight-loss gurus who are overweight or even morbidly obese like Atkins was?”

http://www.elixxir.com

Elixxir, the author of “How to Look 20-Something at Past 50″ and the creator of The Elixxir Program, explains this new paradigm on achieving weight loss.

“Overweight or obesity are very linked to your biological aging,” he points out.  ”The older you get biologically, the more likely you are to be overweight or obese.  So If you greatly slow down your biological aging, you will lose weight.  And lots of it too.”

Unlike other weight-loss program, Elixxir shifts the focus on The Elixxir Program from losing weight to retarding your aging.  Elixxir says “the trick is to focus on retarding your biological aging, then you will automatically lose weight.”

And not just for a few weeks.  But permanent weight loss.  Yes, the holy grail of all who need to lose weight and fat.  But the holy grail which the weight-loss industry has never been able to deliver.

Health & Life: Your Core Assets

In this real estate meltdown, stock market turmoil, and economic downtown, how do you come out ahead? The best way is to preserve your core asset. And your most priceless core asset is your health and your life.

If you have any doubt that your health and your life are your core asset, or that they’re priceless, try losing them for just one day.

Then you lose everything.

As P.T. Barnum, who died at the turn of the last century with a net wealth of over $10 million, wisely noted: “The foundation of success in life is good health; that is the substratum of fortune; it is also the basis of happiness.  A person cannot accumulate a fortune very well when he is sick.  He has no ambition; no incentive; no force.”

With good health and a long life, you can survive the worst real estate or market crash.  And the best way — the only scientific way — to prolong and preserve your health and your life is by slowing down your biological aging.

And there is only one scientific way under high heaven to achieve that. And it is the foundation, the active ingredient, of The Elixxir Program.

http://www.elixxir.com

That’s why The Elixxir Program is the best “investment” in yourself — and your future — that you can possibly make in this or any other kind of market.

And that’s why The Elixxir Program is also the best value.  Because, after all, without health and life, what do we have?

Facts Belie Studies Claiming Older=Happier

New York (AANN) — The Washington Post reports new studies asking older people if they are happy and then taking at face value their replies that they are much happier in old age than when they were young. With all due respect, that’s like asking American males how big their penises are.

American dudes all claim to sport seven inches at least. Which we know is simply not true. It’s like the joke of pollsters asking teenagers if they masturbate or not. The study found Only 2% masturbate. But 98% are pathological liars.

How do we explain the epidemic of depression among older people? Or seniors’ higher risk for suicide? Or the sea of loneliness many older people are immersed in and complain of?

How do we explain the huge amounts of money being spent on botox, plastic surgery, cosmetics by people who are growing old but don’t want to?

These facts simply belie the results of the studies. As pollsters know, people often give what they feel is “the right answers.” It’s bad enough to be old. But to be a whining old person is one of the most negative stereotypes.

How likely is it for seniors who face a much higher incidence of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer’s etc to be so much happier than when they were healthy and not popping medication all day long?

How likely when they experience so much more personal loss in the deaths of loved ones?

It’s hard enough to be old. One should not feel obligated to be “happier” too. There is a simple explanation for those older people who truly believe they are happier.

Denial.

And as Mark Twain quipped (not fibbed): “That’s not just a river in Egypt.”

On her farewell tour, Cher admitted that “There is not one good thing about growing old.”

Now that’s honesty!

Conclusion: The methodology of these studies are so obviously flawed. It is quite puzzling that the Washington Post does not have writers who have the critical faculties to point this glaring fact out.

But if the Washington Post won’t puncture this old-is-happier propaganda, we at the Anti-Aging News Network have no qualms about doing so.

Anti-Aging Breakthroughs Soon: Top Researchers

Human Growth Hormone: Anti-Aging or Speed-Aging?

Carlin, Comedian, Dies Suddenly from Heart Failure

George Carlin, is dead. Fallen to heart failure at 71. And it was surely the last thing he was expecting. At 71, the counterculture critic-comedian was on top of the world. He was scheduled to be honored at the Kennedy Center in November. Last weekend, he performed in Vegas. But on Sunday afternoon Carlin complained of chest pains, checked into the hospital, and was dead in a few hours. A Scientific anti-aging program could have prevented or greatly postponed Carlin’s heart failure. And given him many more good years.

Instead, by drugs and alcohol, Carlin put himself on an accelerated aging regimen. And unfortunately for us, it worked like a charm. And robbed us of Carlin’s extraordinary talent as a comedian-social-critic.

A grim reminder of why we’re interested in anti-aging news and anti-aging. It is the most rational thing. Much more rational indeed than obsessing about stocks, career, getting rich, or financial planning for “the golden years.”

http://elixxir.com

For what is the point of financial planning for “the golden years” if you forget to do anti-aging planning for the “golden years.” So that they will be “golden” indeed. And not chronically ill, bedridden, wheelchaired, or, heavens forbid, senile.

What is the point of planning for retirement unless we make sure we’re alive and kicking at 65 — and for a long, long time after?

Here’s to Life! We’re into anti-aging because we love life!

Because aging prematurely, needlessly, badly leads to premature Death. Dying at 71 is very premature and rather shabby. The average life expectancy in the U.S. is 78. So Carlin was seven years short. Not to mention the maximum human lifespan which is 122 at least. And by that count, Carlin fell over half a century short.

Does it really matter how much Carlin managed to rack up in his estate with his frenetic non-stop performances?

Death means losing everything.

Death means losing the whole game.

And Anti-Aging — scientific anti-aging that is, for pseudo-science will kill you — is the way to prevent this catastrophic loss for as long as possible.

The “Antidote” to Premature Aging & Death: The Elixxir Program

Gravity Causes Jowls, Drooping Nose & Eyelids?

New York (http://antiagingscoop.com) — Ever wondered why as people grow older (turn 50 and older), the skin seems to have a (malevolent) mind of its own? The nose and eyelids droops. The ears lengthen. The upper lip vanishes. And, horrors, Nixonesque jowls form. Believe it or not, it’s GRAVITY.

Gravity? Yes! According to the American Academy of Dermatologists website SkinCarePhysicians.com.

As this American Academy of Dermatologists site explains:

“Gravity constantly pulls on our bodies. Changes related to gravity become more pronounced as we age. In our 50s, when the skin’s elasticity declines dramatically, the effects of gravity become evident. Gravity causes the tip of the nose to droop, the ears to elongate, the eyelids to fall, jowls to form, and the upper lip to disappear while the lower lip becomes more pronounced.” (Italics added)

Just a beginning taste of the indignities, not to mention insults, that biological aging inflicts on people with ever-increasing brutality.

But this fact makes us wonder if Elixxir, “the only anti-aging guru who has actually stayed young” (Investor’s Business Daily) is gravity-defying?

See recent Elixxir pic below.

$64 Million Question: Does any other anti-aging guru boast of such facial skin at 53?

When you think of all the 50-something faces with their damaged face skins as listed above, you probably wish to take a second look at the picture of Elixxir on the upper right-hand corner of this site.

Won’t that face and skin be nice for past 50?!

No plastic surgery guaranteed. And that Elixxir pic was not taken by a fashion glamour photographer, but by a rank amateur.

No Safe Tan – FDA

What is the number one ANTI-AGING (and ANTI-CANCER) ‘SECRET’ for the summer? Answer: AVOID TANNING like the plague. Dr. Darrell Rigel, a NYU Medical School clinical professor in dermatology, declared some years back that “There’s no such thing as a safe tan.”

The fact that melanoma, the deadliest of skin cancers, has become an epidemic, is grim support for Dr. Rigel.

But you say you tan in moderation?

On its website, the American Academy of Dermatologists point out that “Without protection from the sun’s rays, just a few minutes of exposure each day over the years can cause noticeable changes to the skin.”

What kind of noticeable aging skin changes?

“Freckles, age spots, spider veins on the face, rough and leathery skin, fine wrinkles..blotchy complexion, actinic keratoses (thick wart-like, rough, reddish patches of skin), and skin cancer can all be traced to sun exposure,” the American Academy of Dermatologists’ website points out.

Dr. Rigel was right. And so is the American Academy of Dermatologists. They’re no killjoys. Their conclusion is simply based on the best and the most compelling scientific research.

Chronic Sun Overexposure (i.e. tanning, not to mention SUNBURN) is the number one cause of PREMATURE SKIN AGING and SKIN CANCER.

But you use sunscreen religiously so you’re safe?

Sunscreen may offer some protection if applied adequately and correctly. But you cannot afford to overexpose yourself to the summer sun even with diligent application of sunscreen solution.

The danger of sunscreens is that it may lull you, like millions of others, into the belief that they can now bake in the sun for hours without worry about sun damage to their skins.

The FDA Consumer magazine’s article from May 1991 titled “No Safe Tan” was so on target and is still so relevant. Millions could have saved themselves the horrors of premature skin aging — not to mention melanoma — if they had only heeded this FDA Consumer article. So we give you the link below. It’s worth your time to read it.

Why Anti-Aging Not Political Issue?

In an interview with the Orange County Register, Dr. Robert Butler, the first director of the National Institute on Aging, was asked “Is aging a political issue?” and he had to admit “Not yet in this political campaign.”

But the question is WHY NOT?

When there are 76 million baby-boomer voters who are rushing towards 65 en masse? What could be a more important issue to more voters than this “aging” issue?

And yet McCain, Clinton & Obama feel confident in ignoring this issue. Our issue.

Big Media does not even feel the need to raise it.

No, it does not register at all on the political radar of this great American democracy. Which is mighty strange since a democracy by definition is supposed to be responsive to what 76 million of its voters are most concerned about, right?

What could be more interesting to 76 boomers than The Aging Issue.

Or rather the not-aging or not-wanting-to-age issue.

And this is not to be dismissed as boomers’ self-centeredness or “narcissism.” That’s a cheap and demagogic shot.

If most of these 76 million people all retire with chronic expensive ailments like heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, what would happen to our health care system? To Medicare? To Medicaid? To health insurance premiums?

It is in the great interest of U.S. society and its economy and government for boomers to stay as youthful, as healthy, as vigorous for as long as is possible.

Overriding public policy interest dictates that society leave no stone unturned in ensuring that boomers suffer as few heart attacks, heart failures, strokes, and cancers as is possible.

The only way to do that?

Greatly retard the biological aging process. So that 76 million Americans can continue to be productive and to contribute for many more years.

In other words, the “Aging” issue or what Dr. Butler calls “the longevity issue” is really The Anti-Aging Issue.

Wine Extends Life, Fights Heart Disease & Cancer. So Why Anti-Aging Gurus Hate Wine?

Irvine, CA (June 3, 2008)– Why are almost all “anti-aging gurus” from the late Atkins to Sears to Pritikin to Ornish fervently against wine or alcoholic beverage of any kind? All except one — Elixxir of The Elixxir Program — who is unabashedly pro-wine.

http://elixxir.com

Recently, Francisco J. Ayala, a distinguished evolutionary biologist at UC Irvine, praises wine, especially red wine, as “the elixir of life.” A recipient of the 2001 National Science Medal, Dr. Ayala points out wine “increases (average) life expectancy.” How? By greatly cutting our risk for cardiovascular disease, “which happens to be the greatest cause of mortality among humans in developed countries.”

Few remember the late Dr. Atkins wrote a book called “Dr. Atkins’ Age-Defying Diet.” And claimed to be a bona fide “anti-aging guru.” Two years after the book came out, Atkins suffered clinical death due to cardiac arrest. A year or so later, he was not just clinically dead, but dead dead. A good number of years short of the average U.S. lifespan.

Not very “age-defying.”

But anyway, anyone who knows anything about The Atkins Diet knows that alcohol is verboten.

With his “Pritikin Longevity Centers,” Nathan Pritikin also claimed to be an “anti-aging guru.” And again, as anyone who knows anything about Nathan Pritikin’s diet knows, alcohol is verboten.

The Ornish Diet is also deadset against alcohol. Why? When its argument is that it is good for the heart. That it can even “reverse” heart disease. Anything that can “reverse” heart disease is anti-aging. So Dr. Ornish’s claim makes him a bona fide anti-aging guru.

But surely the good and learned Dr. Ornish knows of the great body of peer-reviewed scientific research and evidence on wine’s dramatic protection against heart disease and stroke?

The same goes for Barry Sears of The Zone Diet who also wrote “The Anti-Aging Zone” and therefore qualifies as a bona fide anti-aging guru. Or at least claims to be one.

Now let’s give credit where credit is due. Pritikin and Ornish Diets are good for the heart. (Unlike The Atkins Diet, which is extremely bad, as a new study shows.)

But an eating program like The Elixxir Program is at least as good for your heart as Pritikin and Ornish and you don’t have to give up one of the great pleasures of life–for the rest of your life.

So do Pritikin and Ornish really have to be Prohibitionist to protect its customers from heart disease and stroke? The scientific answer is a resounding NO.

Dr. Ayala does not stand alone on this issue. Scientific research has shown again and again over decades that wine and alcoholic beverages in general provide very strong protection against heart attacks and strokes etc

Last but not least, there is ample evidence wine can extend average life span. That it is therefore anti-aging. So once again the 64 million dollar question: why are “anti-aging gurus” Atkins, Pritikin, Sears & Ornish hellbent against wine?

Elixxir (and The Elixxir Program) is apparently the only anti-aging guru who stands up for wine, Calvados, Champagne and its anti-aging, heart-protecting benefits.
